We are looking for a Project Manager IV to support a high-priority People Operations and Payroll initiative focused on improving leave-of-absence processes, system integrations, and operational delivery. This role requires strong project coordination skills, hands-on Workday experience, and a solid understanding of payroll, leave management, and HR technology environments. The Project Manager will work across multiple functional and technical teams, manage dependencies and risks, coordinate testing activities, and ensure key deliverables are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead end-to-end project coordination for a critical Leave of Absence improvement initiative.
  • Drive alignment and delivery across People Operations, Payroll, Benefits, HR Technology, and external vendor teams.
  • Manage project dependencies, risks, escalations, timelines, and competing priorities.
  • Coordinate system integration testing across HR and Payroll platforms.
  • Support operational payroll activities and ongoing business initiatives.
  • Prepare and facilitate cross-functional workshops and working sessions.
  • Maintain clear project status reporting, stakeholder communications, and action tracking.
  • Support additional transformation and process-improvement initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, Payroll, HR Technology, or related environments.
  • Hands-on Workday experience, preferably within HCM, Payroll, or Absence modules.
  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional projects in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, Leave of Absence policies, and system integrations.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with absence or disability management vendors.
  • Familiarity with end-to-end Leave of Absence processing lifecycles.
  • Experience within a large technology or enterprise People Operations environment.
  • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with system integration testing across HR and Payroll platforms.
  • Experience supporting Workday-based HR or Payroll transformation initiatives.
