Position Summary
The Application Integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise application integrations that enable secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange across the organization. This role partners with business stakeholders, application owners, architects, and technical teams to deliver integration solutions that support critical business processes across Human Resources, Finance, Recruiting, IT Service Management, and other corporate functions.
The position supports a diverse application portfolio including Workday, Freshservice, iCIMS, Microsoft Dynamics, Adaptive Planning, Quickbase, Azure, and MS Power Platform. The Application Integration Developer leverages APIs, web services, workflow automation, cloud technologies, and integration platforms to streamline business operations, improve data quality, and enhance the user experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party vendors through a variety of methodologies including REST, SOAP, and file exchanges ensuring security, scalability, reliability, telemetry, and error handling throughout.
• Develop and support Workday integrations utilizing Studio, Orchestrate, and Workday web services.
• Create and maintain integrations utilizing XML, JSON, and other industry-standard data exchange formats.
• Develop workflow automation solutions using available technologies including Power Automate, Azure, Freshservice Orchestration, UI Path. and Quickbase.
• Design and implement event-driven and message-based integrations using available tools.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration specifications, data mappings, and solution designs.
• Monitor integration performance and troubleshoot interface failures, data discrepancies, and process exceptions. Providing RCA and corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, workflow diagrams, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development standards and integration capabilities.

Job Requirements
Education/Training/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Five (5) or more years of experience developing and supporting enterprise application integrations.
• Three (3) or more years of experience with Workday integration development.
• Experience supporting complex SaaS ecosystems and integrating cloud-based business applications.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or similar development methodologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise platforms such as Workday, Dynamics and other HR and Finance systems and integrations.
• Experience with low-code platforms such as Quickbase, Microsoft Power Apps, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with healthcare systems and data, including understanding of HIPAA, PHI protection, and healthcare regulatory compliance, is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of enterprise integration architecture, API management, and application interoperability with the ability to understand end-to-end business processes and data flows including upstream and downstream dependencies and the identification of potential impacts across platforms from proposed changes.
• Ability to design scalable and maintainable integration solutions across multiple business platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong customer-service orientation with the ability to work and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, auditing, and data governance principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
