We are looking for a UX Researcher V to lead complex, high-impact mixed-methods research programs that inform product and policy decisions. This role requires a highly independent researcher who can operate in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, combine qualitative depth with quantitative rigor, and translate research findings into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Scope and execute mixed-methods research studies, including interviews, diary studies, surveys, concept testing, and usability evaluations.
• Own research projects end-to-end, including research planning, participant criteria, recruiting, fieldwork, analysis, and stakeholder readouts.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data, including survey data, weighting, descriptive and inferential statistics, and behavioral or product-log data.
• Select appropriate research methodologies based on the business question and adapt approaches as constraints or priorities change.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product and policy decisions.
• Partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Legal, Policy, Compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain strong research documentation and ensure effective handoffs across ongoing programs.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant UX Research, Product Research, or related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Sociology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience independently designing and executing mixed-methods research.
• Strong quantitative research skills, including survey design, sampling, data cleaning, weighting, and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with statistical or scripting tools such as R, Python, or SPSS.
• Strong qualitative research expertise across multiple methodologies.
• Ability to evaluate methodological tradeoffs, sampling considerations, bias, and research limitations.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Demonstrated ability to turn research insights into recommendations that influence business or product decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience conducting international or multi-market research.
• Experience using internal or large-scale survey platforms.
• Experience combining primary research with large-scale behavioral or product-log data.
• Experience conducting research in risk, safety, compliance, policy, trust, integrity, or similarly complex product domains.
• Proven success leading large-scale or highly complex qualitative and quantitative research programs.
