Job Title: Treasury Analyst, Cash Management
Location: Houston, TX 77077 — Energy Corridor
Employment Type: Contract with potential temp-to-hire opportunity
Duration: Contract; potential conversion for the right candidate
Compensation: $30.00/hour
Direct Hire Salary: Approximately $85,000 annually, plus bonus potential
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid — onsite Wednesdays. During the initial training period, 2–3 onsite days per week may be required.
Candidates: Local Houston-area candidates only

Work Requirements: U.S. Citizen, GC Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
 
Skillset/Experience: Treasury, cash management, corporate finance bank reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and treasury reporting.

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Treasury Analyst, Cash Management, to provide analytical and operational support to Treasury Operations. This position will be responsible for daily cash administration, cash positioning, bank reconciliations, liquidity monitoring, cash flow forecasting, and treasury reporting.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on treasury or cash management experience, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and banking partners.
Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily treasury operations and cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash position reports.
  • Monitor cash balances, liquidity requirements, revenues, liabilities, and financial trends.
  • Support short-, medium- and long-term cash flow forecasting.
  • Perform complex bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with internal business partners and financial institutions.
  • Record and verify daily cash transactions and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support the organization’s liquidity management and treasury reporting processes.
  • Research banking products, investment opportunities, funding sources, and financial instruments.
  • Support treasury compliance initiatives, audit preparation, and regulatory documentation.
  • Administer the corporate merchant card program, including policy compliance, reporting, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct bank fee analyses and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Participate in treasury system implementations, process improvements, and policy development.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and banking contacts to resolve issues and improve cash management processes.
  • Provide support for additional treasury functions and special projects as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, or a related financial discipline.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of cash forecasting, cash positioning, bank reconciliations, and treasury operations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and banking partners.
  • Limited travel may be required, approximately 5%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of treasury or corporate finance experience.
  • Experience with Power BI and treasury management systems.
  • Experience with merchant card programs and banking platforms.
  • Exposure to liquidity forecasting, cash reporting, and banking relationships.
  • Certified Treasury Professional designation preferred but not required.
  • Experience supporting treasury-related projects, system implementations, or process improvements.
