Role: Business Analyst

Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the link between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, with a focus on understanding current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and driving process improvement and automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business users to understand, document, and map current-state processes.

• Identify inefficiencies, root causes, and opportunities to simplify or automate processes.

• Ask probing questions and constructively challenge existing processes and assumptions.

• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

• Use SQL to analyze data and support business and process analysis.

• Support Agile delivery, testing, UAT, and requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities to leverage tools such as Microsoft Power Automate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst or related IT delivery experience.

• Strong experience with current-state process mapping and process improvement.

• Working SQL knowledge, including queries, joins, and unions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

• Power Automate experience is preferred; Power BI is a plus.

• Austin-area candidates preferred; remote candidates may be considered.
